Create a lemon drawing

Follow the steps from the video lessons to create a drawing of a lemon using one of the specified materials (graphite pencil, sepia, or charcoal). Drawings of subjects other than a lemon, or created with materials other than those specified, will not be accepted.

Why drawing comes first?

Hi! I'm Anastasiia, a watercolor artist, book author, and mentor for creatives. "Drawing comes first!" is a phrase my painting teacher always told me when I was a student at the Fine Arts Academy. Drawing is essential because it’s a foundational skill; you cannot paint something realistically without first learning how to draw it. That’s why, in this contest, I invite you to learn the foundational principles of drawing and how to use them to depict the world around you realistically.
