Finding your Signature Style Should take Ages?

Finding your signature artistic style can be a daunting task, especially if you’re just starting out in the art world. It can take years to develop and perfect your own unique style, but there are ways to speed up the process and find it faster. Here are some tips for finding your signature artistic style:

1. Experiment with Different Mediums – Don’t limit yourself to one medium when creating artwork; try different materials like oil paints, watercolors or pastels until you find something that resonates with you most. This will help give shape to what kind of artist you want to become and how best express yourself through art-making.

2. Study Art History – Taking time out of making artwork itself is important too! Researching into other artists who have come before us gives us insights into their techniques which we may use as inspiration when creating our own work later on down the line - this could even lead onto exploring a new medium or technique altogether!

3 Take Time Out To Reflect On Your Work– After every project has been completed take time away from it all so that way we can reflect back on our work objectively without being clouded by emotion - this helps us identify any patterns in our creative output which leads onto forming an idea about what kind of artist we want ourselves becoming further down the line .

4 Ask For Feedback From Other Artists– Receiving feedback from peers allows for constructive criticism which helps build confidence within ourselves as well as giving insight into areas where improvement needs taking place - don't forget though not everyone's opinion reflects ours so remember always stand firm behind decisions made during creation stage !
